Meet Our Veterinary Technicians

  • NANCY SCHOEFFEL, CVT
'I really enjoy our clients! It is such a pleasure to meet all of the new pets and their families and also have the opportunity to care for our long-term patients. I love the opportunity to meet the challenges everyday brings at the clinic. ' Nancy is a Certified Veterinary Technician and began working at the Waterloo Veterinary Clinic in 1985.
  • ERICA ZAMASTIL, BS, ALAT, ABCVA

Pets of all sizes were important parts of our family growing up in northwestern Wisconsin, and after working for more than a decade as a technician and microbiologist in the food safety industry, I decided to change careers and pursue my passion for pets. I enrolled in Animal Behavior College's online Veterinary Assistant program and completed my externship with Waterloo Veterinary Care in the fall of 2019.  I am incredibly happy to be joining the team full-time; caring for pets and helping them live happy, healthy lives!  I earned a BS in Bacteriology from UW-Madison in 2003 and became an ABC Certified Veterinary Assistant in December 2019.

  • KELSEY GOEBEL

I have a passion for all life stages and am always ready to lend a hand to help clients with their animals.'  Kelsey was born and raised in Columbus and is a graduate of Columbus High School. She has been playing flute and piano for many years.
